Nihonbashi Bridge

This is a scene near the Nihonbashi Bridge. There were many fishing boats on a river and the fish were sold to the townspeople. The scene where the retailer of fish went to sell them to the town using a yoke is also illustrated. There were some boards called Kousatu (Bulletin board) at the end of the bridge. When a government transmitted commands to people, these bulletin boards were used.
